Maria Beth Stanfield MA, LLP, CADC, CCS, QMHP

Maria B. Stanfield, MA, LLP, SW, is a dedicated mental health professional, clinical leader, and community advocate with nearly three decades of experience in behavioral health services.

Bio

She has worked as a Mental Health Therapist since 1997, providing therapeutic support to individuals, families, and communities across diverse settings. In 2006, she earned her Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Detroit Mercy, further strengthening her clinical foundation and commitment to evidence-based practice.


Throughout her career, Maria has held leadership roles that integrate clinical excellence with program development, supervision, and administrative oversight. Her work has consistently focused on expanding access to quality mental health care, particularly for under-served populations. She has extensive experience in clinical supervision, quality improvement, staff development, and crisis-oriented services, and is recognized for her ability to build strong, mission-driven teams. In addition to her leadership in established organizations, she is the CEO and Founder of My Sister’s KEYper’s Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing intensive outpatient therapeutic services to individuals of all ages, with an emphasis on holistic, trauma-informed care.


Maria’s professional work is deeply informed by her personal values of faith, family, and service. She is a member of Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, where she actively contributes to service initiatives and community empowerment. Married for 30 years and the parent of two adult children, she values balance, wellness, and community engagement. In her personal time, Maria enjoys working out, spending time with family, and remaining actively involved in community-based efforts that promote healing, resilience, and collective well-being. She is in the process of completing her PhD in Clinical Psychology.
